Safety, Health and Environment Manager
David leads UK Power Networks Services, the commercial division within the UK Power Networks Group. UK Power Networks Services provides energy infrastructure solutions to the UK's largest private and public sector organisations. The company supports these organisations to achieve their Net Zero journey, improve their resilience and reduce their costs.
David is a chartered electrical engineer who joined the organisation in 1980 as an apprentice. He has held several senior posts within the company, including leading the London Underground PFI, Powerlink, HS1 and as Head of Client Delivery overseeing long term airport and military contracts and delivering major infrastructure projects at Hinkley Point C and on the Great Western Railway.
David has a degree in Electrical Engineering at Southampton University and an MBA at Brighton University.
Colin is our Head of Finance and leads the team to support the business by delivering effective financial and risk management, driving business performance. With more than 20 years' experience in the energy industry, Colin has held senior finance positions in both regulated and unregulated sectors.
Colin has ACMA CGMA finance qualifications and a BA (Hons) in Business Finance. Prior to working at UK Power Networks and UK Power Networks Services, Colin has held various finance roles in the food manufacturing industry.
Lucy leads the Safety, Health and Environment team and has been instrumental in achieving a culture of zero harm across our business. She has achieved this by giving all employees the behavioural tools to make the right decision and avoid harm to themselves, colleagues and members of the public.
She was a key player in the development and implementation of the successful Stay Safe culture change programme, which has resulted in maintaining an injury free workplace for more than five years. Lucy has worked for UK Power Networks and its predecessor companies, SEEBOARD and EDF Energy, for 18 years in various safety roles including responsibility for the health and safety of more than 2,500 employees.

Richard leads our Estimating and Commercial teams, and the Governance, Compliance and Quality teams who effectively mitigate risk for our company and our clients, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Richard is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. With more than thirty years’ experience working in the rail, construction and power industries, Richard has previously held senior roles at Laing O’Rourke and Balfour Beatty.
Steven is responsible for leading, developing and delivering engineering and design functions across our business.
He has 20 years of experience in both the public and private sector. He started his early career as an electrical engineer in the railway industry, and has gained a wide range of technical and commercial experience throughout the years in many other sectors including airports, and shipping ports, through to nuclear.
Steven has held senior roles in engineering management, and leading of design, for some of the most complex electrification projects in the UK.
Brad joined UK Power Network Services from UK Power Networks, where he spent 15 years in various project, programme and portfolio management positions and 21 years with the company overall.
Previously a LPN Portfolio Manager, he was responsible for the delivery of major capital and connections projects.
In his role of Head of Client Delivery, Brad is responsible for the delivery of projects for our North, South and East clients. This includes some of our long-term contracts in the aviation and rail industries.

Gary has more than 45 years electrical contracting experience and has worked on many complex projects, predominately delivering for London Underground over the last 20 years.
In his role of Head of Client Delivery, he is responsible for the delivery of projects for our Central, North and West clients. This includes some of our long-term contracts in the aviation and construction industries.
